The new book

See It, Believe It, Achieve It: The Key to Living Your Dreams, by Herb Sieg.

See It, Believe It, Achieve It

The Key to Living Your Dreams

A practical guide to turning what you want into what you have — written by a man who spent his working life teaching people to read the rules, and the rest of it teaching them to look past the rules to what they actually wanted.

  • How the conscious and subconscious mind work together, and how to get them pulling in the same direction.
  • Techniques you can actually apply — not theory, but the habits that turn an aspiration into a result.
  • How to cultivate a mindset of abundance and hold onto it when things get thin.

The record

Fifty years in one department, most of it teaching tax

Herb Sieg was one of the founders of the Department of Accounting and the College of Business at Illinois State University. For most of his career he was the last of the original College of Business faculty still in a classroom.

His subject was federal income taxation. He taught it, wrote the textbooks for it, and for more than thirty years coordinated CPA review programs that put students through the exam and out the other side.

He also built the accounting internship program from nothing and ran it for seventeen years. At its peak it was one of the largest in the country.
